Itinerary;

 

Day 1: Istanbul Arrival

Arrival in Istanbul airport. private transfer to your 4 star centrally located hotels. Overnight in Istanbul.

 

Day 2 : Istanbul ( B. )

08.30 a.m. Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment. Overnight in Istanbul.

 

Day 3 : Istanbul - Overnight sleeper Train to Ankara ( B. )

08.20 a.m. pick up from hotel for half day Bosphorus cruise and spice market tour. free afternoon and evening transfer to Istanbul haydarpasa Train station. Overnight Sleeper train to Ankara.

 

Day 4 : Ankara - Cappadocia ( L. D. )

Early morning Arrival in Ankara train station. met by our guide and transfer to city center to start to visit to the world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum also known as Hittite Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the Turkish hero. Then departure for Cappadocia and lunch on the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. Arrival to the Cappadocia region and overnight

 

Day 5 : Cappadocia ( B. L. D. )

After having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia .

 

Day 6 : Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale ( B. L. D. )

Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit to the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and arrival in Konya. Lunch. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide famous mystic, proceed to Karatay Theological School in which beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight.

 

Day 7 : Pamukkale - Kusadasi ( B. L. D. )

In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the Theatre, Apollo Temple and magnificent Necropolis, the graveyard. Then drive to Aphrodisias and lunch. Later visit to the ruins and the museum. Drive to Kusadasi and overnight

 

Day 8 : Ephesus ( B. L. D. )

Morning tour to Ephesus area with Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses are excluded), Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; Virgin Mary’s House, Selcuk Ephesus Museum and St. John Church. Overnight in Kusadasi .

 

Day 9 :Kusadasi ( B. D. )

Free days and overnight in Kusadasi.

 

Day 10 : Izmir - Athens ( B. )
Pick up from and transfer to Izmir airport for flight to Athens. arrival and transfer to your hotel for overnight.

 

Day 11 : Athens ( B. )
Tour Athens’ famed Acropolis with its breathtaking view and renowned Parthenon, followed by a visit to the Acropolis Museum. On your own, explore the Plaka with its open-air taverns and traditional shops.

Day 12 : Athens - Return ( B. )
Transfer to the airport for the flight home.
