ITINERARY ;
DAY 1 : Arrival to Istanbul
Welcome to Turkey. Arrival at Istanbul International Airport “ Attaturk”. Meet, assist and transfer to hotel. Its original name is Byzantium then Constantinople. It is a most fascinating city, which actually crosses two continents Europe and Asia. It is a city of amalgamation of bazaars, minarets, mosques, churches, palaces, and restaurants catering to every one’s taste, museums, customs and twelve million people.
We will enjoy a panoramic bus drive showing the various highlights of this cosmopolitan city such as the Byzantine Walls of Constantinople, the Sea of Marmara and Bosphorus shorelines. overnight stay in Istanbul.
DAY 2 : Full Day Istanbul Tour ( Breakfast )
09.00 a.m. After breakfast, pick up from hotel and Our journey begins in Istanbul, the only city in the world situated on two continents. Byzantium, Constantinople, Istanbul - its three names span more than 2600 years, nearly 1600 of them as the capital of two of the greatest empires the world has known, Byzantine and Ottoman. We visit the Topkapi Palace including Harem ,Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque and Hippodrome, where chariot races and the Byzantine riots took place.Visit the Grand Bazaar for shopping. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3 : Ankara – Cappadocia ( Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner )
05.30 a.m. Early morning transfer to airport for flight to Ankara airport by Turkish airlines departs at 07.00 TK 2106. arrival to Ankara airport at 08.05 a.m. Our guide will meet you and transfer to city center to start to visit to the world-wide famous Anatolian Civilizations Museum also known as Hittite Museum and the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the burial place of the Turkish hero. Then departure for Cappadocia and lunch on the way. After a picturesque trip along the Salt Lake visit to the 13th century Seljukian Caravanserai Agzikarahan. Arrival to the Cappadocia region and overnight
DAY 4 : Cappadocia ( Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner )
After having breakfast in the hotel visit to the Pigeon Valley near Uchisar; then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Lunch in a restaurant and then visit to Kaymakli Underground City, the place early Christians hid from persecutors. Pasabagi in Zelve region and Avanos with shopping facilities for the world-wide famous handicrafts. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 5 : Cappadocia - Konya – Pamukkale ( Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner )
Early departure for Pamukkale. On the way visit to the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece Sultanhan Caravanserai and arrival in Konya. Lunch. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the world-wide famous mystic, proceed to Karatay Theological School in which beautiful tiles are on display. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight.
DAY 6 : Pamukkale – Kusadasi ( Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner )
In the morning visit to the ancient Hierapolis with the Theatre, Apollo Temple and magnificent Necropolis, the graveyard. Then drive to Aphrodisias and lunch. Later visit to the ruins and the museum. Drive to Kusadasi and overnight.
DAY 7 : Ephesus ( Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner )
Morning tour to Ephesus area with Ephesus Antique City (Hillside Houses are excluded), Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; Virgin Mary’s House, Selcuk Ephesus Museum and St. John Church. Overnight in Kusadasi .
DAY 8 : Kusadasi – Istanbul ( Breakfast )
After breakfast and transfer to Izmir airport for noon flight to Istanbul. Arrival and our representative will transfer to your hotel. Afternoon Free in Istanbul to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 9 : Home ( Breakfast )
Transfer to Airport to connect to your international flight and leave Turkey
