Our tour starts with Chora Church where the mosaics are breathtaking. You are going to see well-preserved wall mosaics from 14th century AD. Then proceed to Suleymaniye Mosque, the mosque of Suleyman the Magnificant was built between 1550 and 1557 by the famous architect Sinan whose wish was to surpass the builders of St. Sophia which is conspicuous from its great size, emphasized by the four minarets rising one from each corner of the courtyard.
Later, continue to Galata Tower which is the one of the symbols of the city and was built in the 14th century by the Genoese who had semi-independence from the Byzantines. Next stop will be Taksim Square which is the beating heart of the city.
Drive back to port. End of services.

Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays. Underground cistern will be substituted.

Dress Code in St. Sophia and Blue Mosque : Dress code is required to enter places of worship such as churches, monasteries, mosques, synagogues and selected museums. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. Shoes are not to be worn in mosques. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.

Terrace Housese
Terrace Houses is located on skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units which were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealty citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top.
