This tour combines Christian points of interest based on the Apostle Paul’s footsteps in Athens. Your private guide will meet you at your Athens Hotel / port at the pre-arranged time. After meeting with your professional guide, start your journey in the birthplace of Western civilization, Welcome to Athens (Acts 17:15)! Travel in time, through the city with a history of more than 5,000 years!
To avoid long queues we go directly to the Acropolis, the sacred rock of Athens. We will see the Parthenon that was dedicated to goddess Athena, Propylaea, the monumental entrance to the sacred area, the Temple of Athena Nike which was dedicated to Athena-Nike, the Erechtheion with its famous female figures-statues the Caryatids or maidens dedicated to Athena and Poseidon.
The Acropolis Hill has a view of the Ancient Agora, the Tower of the Winds, Herodes Atticus Odeon, and the Theatre of Dionysus. You will have a chance to see them from Acropolis Hill.
Continue with the nearby Mars Hill (Areopagus) to read Acts 17:22 where the Apostle Paul gave his famous speech to the Athenian philosophers (Acts 17:18-34) and spoke about the inscription: “to an unknown god”. After lunch, we enjoy some free time in Plaka, the old historical neighborhood of Athens and later visit the Ancient Agora which was formerly the commercial hub of ancient Athens and birthplace of politics and philosophy. Here the apostle Paul reasoned with the most skeptical audience he met in the course of his travels.
Before our return to the hotel, we drive to the coastal residential suburb ofFaliro to see the small church where the Apostle Paul arrived in Athens by ship from Macedonia. At that time (and before then) Phalerum was the main port of Athens.
After the tour, drive back to the hotel and end of services.

Terrace Housese
Terrace Houses is located on skirt of Pion Mountain. There are 6 residential units which were built on three man-made terraces. These houses were settled by wealty citizens of Ephesus. These houses were very fancy decorated with wall frescoes and floor mosaics. There are many steps to ascend from bottom to top.
